The McLoughlin family have lived and worked in Howth for over two hundred years. Each generation of the family has been involved in the fishing industry.

Throughout the years they have been net mending, curing Howth Herrings, smoking their famous Salmon and processing fish for retailing in Howth.

The business is now being run by Nicky's son Martin who has been involved in the shop for the past 25 years. His innovations are particularly evident in the smoked salmon sector.
